If you’re in Irvine and want something fast, flavorful, and actually hits, The Kebab Shop is one of those places that just doesn’t miss. I went recently with my family, and we ended up trying a mix of wraps, bowls, and plates and everything was honestly so good.
I got the Fire Wrap with grilled kofta, and this was easily one of the best wraps I’ve had in a while. The kofta was super flavorful, juicy, well-seasoned, and had that perfect grilled taste. The “fire” part adds a nice kick, but it’s not overwhelming. Everything came together really well with the veggies and sauces, and the wrap itself held up (which is underrated but important). It’s one of those meals where every bite is consistent which I always look for.
My family mixed it up with a bowl and a plate, and both looked just as good with protein, rice, toppings, and sauces, the kind of meal that feels filling but not heavy. What I liked is that everything felt fresh and customizable, so you can really build your own meal depending on what you’re in the mood for.
We also ordered a side of falafel, and this might’ve been my favorite part of the meal. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and actually flavorful—not dry like some places. You can tell they’re made fresh, and they paired perfectly with the sauces.
The menu overall leans into Mediterranean staples like falafel, kebabs, wraps, bowls, and plates that you can customize, which makes it really easy to find something you like .
Between the fire wrap, the falafel, and everything else we tried, this place is an easy recommendation. I’d definitely come back and honestly, I already know what I’m ordering next time.
